Details and restrictions: Information about where paint can be taken in Nottinghamshire, please visit Nottinghamshire County Council website and search for 'paint' or call 0300 500 8080 for details on how to dispose of paint.

Paper (except shredded paper)

How To Dispose: Place in blue bin.

Details and restrictions: Please remember not to put your paper inside plastic carrier bags before you place in your blue bin as plastic bags contaminate the recycling process. Do not put shredded paper in your blue bin.

Paper Tablecloths

Pizza boxes (takeaway)

How To Dispose: If you have a takeaway pizza box, please dispose of this in your GREEN BIN due to food contamination.

How To Dispose: This can be disposed of at the Retford or Worksop Household Waste Recycling Centres.

Plastic Bottles

How To Dispose: To recycle plastic bottles, please put them in your blue bin.

Details and restrictions: Before you put your plastic bottles in your recycling bin please rinse them out. Bottle tops from shampoo, shower gel and drinks bottles can stay on the bottles. However, trigger sprays (from items such as cleaning products), must be removed and placed in your green bin.

How To Dispose: These can be taken to the Household Waste Recycling Centre at Retford or Worksop. Alternatively if these items are still in good condition and safe to use, advertise them at a local baby clinic or in the local paper.
