How To Dispose: For electrical items, such as lawn mowers the shop supplying it may take the old one away or provide advice as to where you can take it for free disposal. Alternatively you can take most unwanted items to the Household Waste Recycling Centre at Retford or Worksop.

Light Bulbs

How To Dispose: Ordinary light bulbs should be taken to the Household Waste Recycling Centre at Retford or Worksop for recycling or alternatively they can be wrapped in newspaper and then placed in your green bin.

Details and restrictions: Please do not place ordinary light bulbs in the glass recycling banks because the metal filaments contaminate the recycling process.

Loft Insulation

How To Dispose: Materials for insulating walls, roofs and loft spaces in domestic properties can be taken to the Household Waste Recycling Centre at Retford or Worksop.

Details and restrictions: The insulation must be double bagged and you should inform staff that you have insulation material to dispose of when you arrive on site.
