How To Dispose:

Retford or Worksop Household Waste Recycling Centre will take most unwanted electrical items. However the cost of recycling this type of waste is now paid for by the company that produced it so when you purchase a new fridge for example the shop supplying it should take the old one away. Bassetlaw District Council do offer a chargeable collection service for bulky items. See our Bulky Item page for more information.

Details and restrictions:

Please note that glass fronted and glass topped commercial fridges will not be accepted at the Household Waste Recycling Centre or collected by Bassetlaw District Council. They should be disposed of by a specialist contractor.
