The first Draft Bassetlaw Local Plan included strategic policies which were designed to guide development. We consulted on the first Draft Local Plan in January-February 2019.
This time around the plan also includes proposed site allocations for employment and housing opportunities.
The Council consulted all interested parties on the Draft Bassetlaw Local Plan, which includes proposed strategic policies for the period 2018 to 2037, in accordance with Regulation 18 of The Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) 2012. The Council welcomed views and comments on the content and direction of this document in order to help shape the development of the new Local Plan for Bassetlaw. The consultation took place between 15th January 2020 and ended on 26th February 2020 at 6pm.
Upon adoption, the Bassetlaw Plan will replace the 2011 Core Strategy & Development Management Policies Development Plan Document.
