Overview
The Retford Town Centre Neighbourhood Plan was formally adopted by Bassetlaw District Council following the residential and business referendums held on 14 November 2024. The Neighbourhood Plan now forms part of the statutory Local Development Plan, alongside the Bassetlaw Local Plan, and should be used when either applying for planning permission or determining planning applications within the Retford Town Centre Neighbourhood Area.

The map is intended as a supplement to the Neighbourhood Plan, assisting identification of the location and extent of geographically-specific designations. As a supplement, it does not cover all designations or details, and so should always be read in conjunction with the Neighbourhood Plan and supporting documents.
