Everton Neighbourhood Plan Referendum Postponed

The Everton Neighbourhood Plan Referendum scheduled to take place on 23rd April 2020 will not take place, as we take extra measures to prevent the risk of spreading coronavirus. This is now likely to take place on Thursday 6th May 2021.

The Examination Report on the Everton Neighbourhood Plan was considered by BDC Full Council on 5 March 2020 and the proposed modification and the holding of a referendum were accordingly approved. The referendum was scheduled to take place on 23 April 2020, but was postponed in accordance with regulations linked to the Coronavirus Act 2020. It is anticipated that the referendum will instead be held on 6 May 2021, unless regulations change in the interim.
