Overview
East Drayton Parish Council's application to designate the Parish for the purposes of producing a neighbourhood plan was approved by Bassetlaw District Council on 26 September 2019. Consultation on the Pre-Submission Draft Neighbourhood Plan commenced in May 2025, as detailed below.

Neighbourhood plans progress through various stages between designation and adoption. The progress of the East Drayton Neighbourhood Plan, and all supporting documents, is detailed below, with the most recent stage addressed first.

Pre-Submission Draft stage (May - June 2025)
In accordance with Regulation 14 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012, the Pre-Submission Draft of the East Drayton Neighbourhood Plan is currently the subject of public and stakeholder consultation. The consultation runs from Friday 2 May until Thursday 19 June 2025. The Plan and supporting documents are available below:
A consultation event is due to be held, providing the opportunity to view the Plan and supporting documents, and discuss the contents with members of the Steering Group and the District Council's Neighbourhood Planning Team.

Written comments on the Plan are welcomed, with a view to refining it ahead of submission, preferably using the Consultation Response Form. Comments should be sent to the Parish Clerk, Gillian Squire, via email or post:
