Review: Modification of the Neighbourhood Area (January - June 2025)

On 19 June 2025 Bassetlaw District Council approved an application from Carlton in Lindrick Parish Council to modify the boundary of the Carlton in Lindrick Neighbourhood Area. The result of the modification is that the Neighbourhood Area boundary now matches the boundary of the Civil Parish, itself modified in 2023. Further details are provided in the Decision Statement and application files included below.

The implications of the change to the boundary are as follows:

  • The existing Carlton in Lindrick Neighbourhood Plan remains in force across the original Neighbourhood Area for time being.
  • The emerging review of the existing Neighbourhood Plan relates only to the area within the revised boundary.
  • Subject to adoption, the reviewed Neighbourhood Plan will replace the existing one within the revised Neighbourhood Area. At this point the area that has now been removed from the Neighbourhood Area (in the vicinity of Aviary Way, Worksop) will cease to be covered by the existing Neighbourhood Plan.
