The first stage of full public engagement of the new Bassetlaw Local Plan was the Scoping Consultation.
This stage was an early opportunity for individuals, stakeholders, landowners, and developers to provide comments on what the new local plan should contain as well as how the council should engage with communities, consultation bodies and other stakeholders during the preparation of the Plan.
The six-week consultation ended on 15th October 2026.
The council produced a Scoping Consultation Report to assist the consultation.
