We are carrying out the first stage of full public engagement of the new Bassetlaw Local Plan known as the Scoping Consultation.
The stage is an early opportunity for individuals, stakeholders, landowners, and developers to provide comments on what the new local plan should contain as well as how the council should engage with communities, consultation bodies and other stakeholders during the preparation of the Plan. Any person or organisation may make representations.
The six-week consultation started on 3rd September 2026, and you can take part by completing this form, or pick up a paper copy from the Council offices in Worksop, Retford or Harworth and Bircotes.
The council has produced a Scoping Consultation Report to assist the consultation.
