Councillor contributes to new parish hall floor

Ordsall Parish Hall has received a grant of £500 from a local councillor that will help to improve facilities used by the wider community and local charities. Cllr David Naylor, Ward Member for East Retford South, has donated the money from his allocation of Councillor Community Grants, which will contribute towards installing new flooring, as well as other works to modernise the building.

Resident pays up for not cleaning up

A Harworth and Bircotes homeowner has been ordered to pay £374 by Mansfield Magistrates Court after refusing to remove waste dumped at the front of his property. Mattresses, soft furnishings, plastics, clothing, material, and food waste were seen outside 11 Milne Drive when a Bassetlaw District Council Environmental Health Officer visited on 1st September 2023.
