Details of issues identified Actions taken or proposed
Fly-tipping and overgrown garden at rear of Cleveland Close, adjacent to footpath. Privately owned property – Environmental Health have issued warning and instructions regarding the clearance of the area.
Fly-tipping on rear garden at Hawthorn Way. Property recently become empty – arrangements made to remove fly-tipping/rubbish, and secure rear access.
Fly-tipping on car park area at Hawthorn Way. Arrangements made for Caretaker Team to remove items.
Resident advised of issues with people using car park as a short cut, leading to congregation of younger people, fly tipping, and security concerns. To consider providing additional fencing to improve security for resident.
Issue with lamppost on Hawthorn Way which has been vandalised. This has been reported to Nottinghamshire County Council to inspect and fix.
Electricity Sub-station on Cheviot Court – poor appearance. Discussions taking place with Electricity Company and local groups regarding potential to improve the appearance of the sub-station.
Rubbish left on garden at Beech Grove by outgoing tenant. To arrange for rubbish to be removed and rear garden to be secured whilst property empty, and to seek repayment of any costs from outgoing tenant.
Fencing issue between two properties on Sycamore Road following removal of trees. To consider replacement of fencing between the two properties.
Gas meter removed illegally from empty property on Sycamore Road. Arrangements made for connections to be checked, and Gas Company to be notified of removal of meter.
Former garage plot site at rear of Sycamore Road. The site is not used but has been the focus of anti-social behaviour issues. To review options for the disposal and security of the site.
Ladder found along footpath at rear of Lime Tree Avenue. Caretakers to remove ladder.
Broken and dangerous fencing at side of properties on Lime Tree Avenue. Properties belong to a Housing Association – contact made with Housing Association and request to make fencing safe and secure.
Fly-tipping and overfilled bins found on garden of empty property at Canterbury Walk. Fly-tipping, waste, and bins removed by Refuse Team.
Various untidy gardens noted. Letters have been sent out to the respective tenants advising to clear up their garden area and keep it in a satisfactory condition.
No balls games signs. There are several randomly placed signs, and feedback is that they have no effect, and are not enforceable. To arrange for the removals of these signs.
