Overview
Clayworth Parish Council invited the District Council to host two Know your Place events in the Parish in March 2024, with the aim of exploring local issues, and considering if and how a neighbourhood plan might help in addressing them. The findings of the event were collated in a Feedback Report, and presented back to the community at an event in September 2024. A key finding was the value of the local landscape, which inspired the Parish Council to commission consultants to produce Design Codes and Guidance. This document was adopted by the District Council as part of the Bassetlaw Design Code in December 2025.
