The Licensing Department has specialist Enforcement Officers whose job it is to enforce the licences issued by the council.
Enforcement Officers perform checks on licensed properties and enforce the conditions stated on a Premises Licence. They conduct investigations following complaints received from members of the public and other agencies such as the Police.
