Job title: Energy and Sustainability Co-Ordinator

Qualifications
1. Degree or equivalent in appropriate genre (Priority 1)
2. Membership of a Professional Body (Priority 3)
Knowledge
1. Knowledge of PAS 2030 & PAS 2035 legislation and best practices (Priority 1)
2. Knowledge of EPC and SAP improvement works to achieve Government requirements (Priority 1)
3. Knowledge of funding streams and ability to prepare funding bids (Priority 1)
4. Knowledge of building material, construction, trade practices, building regulations for energy efficiency functions (Priority 1)
5. Knowledge of construction techniques, specialist works, issues and planning and budgeting of works (Priority 2)
6. An understanding of construction related health and safety (Priority 2)
7. Able to understand and adhere to complex regulations and procedures and to effectively assimilate procedural and technical detail (Priority 1)
8. Knowledge of relevant data protection and confidentiality responsibilities and the ability to make justifiable decisions of these responsibilities (Priority 2)
9. An awareness of equalities and diversity and a commitment to implement the Council’s equalities and diversity policies (Priority 2)
Experience
1. A minimum of two years experience of working within the housing sector, in a management or supervisory position within Housing or Asset Management. Specific experience in terms of Energy & Sustainability, in all forms of residential energy efficiency, along with membership of an appropriate professional body would be beneficial. (Priority 1)
