Priority 1 – Could not do the job without this 

Priority 2 – Could not do the job without this, but provided have Priority 1 criteria, this could be developed in the job over an acceptable period

Priority 3 – Would enhance performance in the job, but is not essential

Qualifications

·         NVQ Levels 2 in Horticulture.  Priority 1

·         PA1 + PA6 Spraying Certificate. Priority 1

·         Full UK driving licence. Priority 1

·         NPTC / LANTRA Chainsaw Certificate. Priority 2

·         ROSPA Playgrounds inspection Certificate. Priority 2

Knowledge

·         Able to carry out wide range of horticultural tasks. Priority 1

·         Able to identify a wide range of trees & shrubs. Priority 1

·         Knowledge of compliance for H&S requirements. Priority 1

Experience

·         Experience in a ground’s maintenance environment. Priority 1

·         Use you a wide range of horticultural machinery & hand tools. Priority 1

Skills

·         Able to undertake high quality horticultural tasks. Priority 1

·         Customer Care Skill. Priority 1

·         Communication Skills across a wide range of audiences. Priority 1

·         Able to works as part of a team or independently. Priority 1
