Tenant Support & Wellbeing Service

Bassetlaw District Council has partnered with Life and Progress to offer a Tenant Support and Wellbeing Service (TSWS).

The Housing Service receives a high level of enquiries from tenants seeking advice on financial issues, legal related issues, mental ill health and other health concerns, which can all now be fully addressed by TSWS.

TSWS provides practical information, resources and counselling to help you balance your work, family and personal life. They are available 24/7, 365 days a year to answer your questions, whatever you may need. They will also refer you to the most appropriate source of support, including counselling, legal, financial, childcare and consumer experts if needed.

There is no cost to use the service for Bassetlaw tenants and there is no limit to the number of issues you can gain support on. These could include but are not limited to:

  • Health and wellbeing information
  • Mental health and wellbeing
  • Relationships
  • Family matters
  • Managing debt
  • Workplace issues
  • Tackling stress and anxiety
  • Parental challenges
  • Your rights as a consumer
  • and much more

A trained service representative will give you the best support for your situation, and you will be helped to determine the best course of action to resolve your issues. This could be simply speaking to a trained advisor or receiving more specialist support or counselling. Whatever you decide, TSWS will always be there to support you.

We encourage you to contact the service as soon as the issue presents itself and before matters become more serious.

Call them today in confidence on 0330 094 8845 or visit Tenant Support & Wellbeing Service. When using the website, you will be asked for a username and password. For Bassetlaw tenants, these are:

Username: bassetlaw

Password: tenant

The tenant support service is sponsored by Bassetlaw District Council. The service is completely confidential. No one will know that you have used the service without your permission. No personal details will be passed onto Bassetlaw District Council.
