Maker {Futures} - University of Sheffield - Create, tinker, test and get hands-on with playful ‘STEP Forward’ activities that explore fusion, plasma, electricity, power and energy. Designed for 7–12 year old

Tuesday 17th & Wednesday 18th February - Drop-in activities 10am to 12noon & 1pm to 3pm

Science in Things - Trelleborg - Exciting hands-on STEM activities delivered by the Trelleborg Development Scientists. Create your own Lava lamps, Magnetic slime, Mini rockets and Cloud dough.

Thursday 19th February - Drop-in activities 10am to 12noon & 1pm to 3pm

Step into Cyber - University of Nottingham - Confused by cryptography? Puzzled by passwords? Explore the world of cyber security with insights into current research and future career paths.

Retro Games Revival - University of Nottingham - Video games have changed a lot over the last 50 years. Enjoy some blasts from the past on the hardware of the era, including Pac Man, Space Invaders, an Italian plumber and an infamous blue hedgehog.

Friday 20th February - Drop-in activities 10am to 12noon & 1pm to 3pm

LEGO Fun Day - Join Bassetlaw Museum for their famous Lego day and let your imagination run wild.

SEND Day - Amazelabs and RNN Group - Join us for fun STEM activities on our dedicated SEND day.  A range of fun and engaging accessible activities delivered in a relaxed and calm family friendly setting.

Wednesday 18th February - Drop-in activities 10am to 12:30pm & 1pm to 3pm

Stories in the Stars - Nottingham Trent University - Family inflatable planetarium show exploring what’s in the night sky. Please note: booking is essential for this event.

Fusion Power- UK Atomic Energy Authority - Learn about fusion energy, exploring how plasma, magnets & robotics work. 

Cyber First & Retro Games Revival - University of Nottingham - Crack the cybersecurity code, or delve into computer games from the past.

Crazy Golf - Laing O’Rourke - Play the ‘engineering’ golf links.  Avoid the hazards and hit a ‘hole in one’.

Micro Meteorites - Sheffield Hallam University - Using microscopes find extra terrestrial particles older than the Earth!

Recycling Science - Veolia - Explore the science of recycling and try upcycling things that we throw away.

STEM Fun - North Notts College - Have a go activities for budding engineers, construction workers, electricians.

Tuesday 17th February Drop-in activities 10am - 2pm

Hado - Active Communities - Try an augmented reality ‘e-sports meets dodgeball’! Use energy blasts and shields, dodge attacks to win the day. A tech infused family sport - use blasters, power ups and team play to take down the grown ups!

Recycling Science - Veolia - What happens to our waste? Find out about the science of recycling and find out what you can upcycle from things that we throw away every day!

Cyber Blue Line - South Yorkshire Police - Visit the Cyber Blue Line (CBL) digital vehicle equipped with gaming stations. Activities help raise awareness to educate on cyber crime in an immersive, engaging, and interactive way.

Ozobots - Bringing coding to life using Ozobots as line following robots in this workshop led by Charlotte Land from Spark STEM.

Interactive storytelling with Emma Reynolds - Join local author and illustrator Emma Reynolds for a storytime workshop of her award-winning book 'Amara and the Bats'. This interactive storytelling includes a bat facts game and batty draw-along. Booking Essential.
