South Leverton Neighbourhood Plan

Overview

The South Leverton Neighbourhood Area was designated by Bassetlaw District Council on 22 March 2018. Initial work to develop a neighbourhood plan was paused in 2019 but, following involvement in the District Council's Know your Place initiative, work to develop a neighbourhood plan recommenced in summer 2024, as detailed below.

Pre-Submission Draft Stage (August - October 2026)

On 21 August 2026, South Leverton Parish Council published the Pre-Submission Draft of the South Leverton Neighbourhood Plan, in accordance with Regulation 14 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012. The documents are available to view below, and also from the South Leverton Parish Council website:

Views on the emerging Neighbourhood Plan and supporting documents are welcomed, with a view to refining it prior to formal submission. The consultation runs for Friday 21 August 2026 until Friday 9 October 2026. Comments can be provided on the response form, and returned via the following means:
