Annual event celebrates Black History Month
The Bassetlaw Black History Month event will be back at the end of October featuring entertainment, panel discussions and support that can help to build a more diverse community in our district. Hosted at Worksop Town Hall on Saturday 26th October, the event has been supported by local councillors who have donated £800 from their Community Grants.

The community of Walkeringham has been busy knitting and nattering to create stunning displays for Remembrance Day, thanks to a Councillor Community Grant. New life-saving equipment for First Responders
North Nottinghamshire Community First Responders will be able to replace life-saving equipment thanks to a £800 Councillor Community Grant. The Community First Responders are a group of local volunteers who are trained by and work with East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust and will respond to emergencies across the district, especially in rural areas.
