Bassetlaw Museum is once again bidding to become the Best Tourist Attraction in the North Notts Business Awards for 2025.
The awards celebrate the achievements of businesses and organisations throughout North Nottinghamshire and their contributions to the region.
The last time the Museum won this award was in 2016 and if it is to win again it needs the public's support to vote for it online.
Dr Mike Galer, Curator at Bassetlaw Museum, said: “We are delighted we have once again been nominated by the public for the Best Tourist Attraction at the North Notts Business Awards.
“Bassetlaw Museum continues to offer a wide range of activities, exhibitions and collections for all ages to enjoy. We hope people will show their support by voting for us.”
As well as preserving Bassetlaw’s identity and heritage, the Museum continues to host free events for families during the school holidays and has recently received £35k of UK Shared Prosperity Funding to make over its outside space making it more accessible and ready to host a diverse array of outdoor activities.
To support Bassetlaw Museum, you can vote online for free with the deadline of 4th July at www.northnottsbusinessawards.weebly.com/public-voting-2025.html
The museum will find out at the end of July if it’s made it through to the top finalists, before the overall winner is crowned at the North Notts Business Awards Ceremony which takes place in September.
