Qualifications

  1. GCSE Grade ‘C’ or above in English and Mathematics Priority 1
  2. At least 2 years’ recent experience of technical planning administration Priority 2

Knowledge

  1. A good understanding of the CIL regulations, S106 implementation and associated Statutory and emerging Guidance Priority 2
  2. Knowledge of planning policy Priority 3

Experience

  1. Experience of handling, manipulation and monitoring of large and complex information/data sets over short and long periods of time Priority 1
  2. Able to demonstrate experience of working in a planning/infrastructure environment Priority 2
  3. Experience of planning application appraisal Priority 3
  4. To be able to demonstrate tact and diplomatic skills in dealing with the public and elected members Priority 2

Skills

  1. To be able to drive, possess a current driving licence and provide a suitable vehicle for use at work Priority 1
  2. Demonstrate the ability to accurately collate, analyse and present complex information, and data in a clear and concise manner Priority 1
  3. Experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access products Priority 1
  4. The ability to maximise the use of town planning software Priority 3
