Job title: Planning Contributions Officer
Grade: Grade 4
Key requirements:

- Priority 2 – Could not do the job without this, but provided have Priority 1 criteria, this could be developed in the job over an acceptable period
- Priority 3 – Would enhance performance in the job, but is not essential
Qualifications
- GCSE Grade ‘C’ or above in English and Mathematics Priority 1
- At least 2 years’ recent experience of technical planning administration Priority 2
Knowledge
- A good understanding of the CIL regulations, S106 implementation and associated Statutory and emerging Guidance Priority 2
- Knowledge of planning policy Priority 3
Experience
- Experience of handling, manipulation and monitoring of large and complex information/data sets over short and long periods of time Priority 1
- Able to demonstrate experience of working in a planning/infrastructure environment Priority 2
- Experience of planning application appraisal Priority 3
- To be able to demonstrate tact and diplomatic skills in dealing with the public and elected members Priority 2
Skills
- To be able to drive, possess a current driving licence and provide a suitable vehicle for use at work Priority 1
- Demonstrate the ability to accurately collate, analyse and present complex information, and data in a clear and concise manner Priority 1
- Experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access products Priority 1
- The ability to maximise the use of town planning software Priority 3
