Job title: CCTV Advanced Operator
Key requirements:
Priority 1 – Could not do the job without this
Priority 2 – Could not do the job without this, but provided have Priority 1 criteria, this could be developed in the job over an acceptable period
Priority 3 – Would enhance performance in the job, but is not essential
Qualifications
- Hold or be prepared to work towards Full SIA accreditation in CCTV and Data Protection level 2 badge, and will be subject to NPPV2 Police Vetting, incorporating DBS Enhanced Level Clearance Priority 1
Knowledge
- To monitor and operate the CCTV cameras via the Control Room and provide an emergency response service via a radio and telephone network to both internal and external customers Priority 2
- Demonstrate a capability to use or learn how to use a two way radio Priority 2
Experience
- Experience of Security Industry Priority 2
- Relevant experience in security / CCTV or related field Priority 2
Skills
- Experience of handling difficult situations Priority 1
- Computer literate Priority 1
- Ability to work in demanding environment Priority 1
- Good written and verbal communication Priority 1
- To be able to work closely as a team Priority 1
- Ability to work under pressure in periods of intense activity, as part of a team Priority 2
- Basic knowledge of relevant legislation i.e. Human Rights Act and Data Protection Act Priority 2
