Job Title: Branching Out Operative
Responsible To: Branching Out Supervisors
General Job Objective
This is an exciting role for anyone interested in developing trade skills in construction and landscaping whilst providing an excellent service to customers and the communities of Bassetlaw.
Key Responsibilities:
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
- Provide construction services including fascia’s and soffit, fencing, sign erection and basic handyman tasks.
- To be able to plan own workload day to day.
- To carry out garden clearances as directed by Bassetlaw District Council’s Void’s and Allocations Team.
- To undertake individually, or as part of a team, all work allocated to agreed performance levels and standards.
- To operate within Bassetlaw District Council’s code of conduct policy.
- To operate within a customer-focused framework, putting the customer first.
- To cover on out of hours emergency call out/evening and weekend rota.
The post holder is required to carry out any other duties appropriate for the grade and responsibility level of the post.
The post holder will be required to comply with relevant legislation and in accordance with the Council’s policies and procedures.
The post holder will be employed under the NJC Conditions of Service for Local Government Services.
