Qualifications
Degree or Equivalent in relevant subject e.g. (or in a relevant field) Environmental Sciences, Geography, Built Environment, or Sustainable Building. (Priority 1)
Research Project in a relevant area. (Priority 3)
Knowledge
Good working knowledge of a range of environmental issues and key solutions, primarily relating to the built environment; including climate change, carbon reduction, sustainable building. (Priority 1)
Knowledge of standard IT applications e.g. Word, Excel and Powerpoint. (Priority 1)
Ability to maintain & analyse data, and produce reports from information systems and other data sources. (Priority 1)
Experience of working with a range of professions eg surveyors or utility companies. (Priority 2)
Experience or competency working with efficient building standards, ie BREEAM or similar. (Priorty 3)
Experience
Experience of delivering an environmental projects and conducting evaluation of impacts. (Priority 1)
Relevant and up to date experience and understanding of Climate Change issues, evidence, perspectives and targets. (Priority 1)
Collation and analysis of data to inform decision-making and evaluate outcomes. (Priority 1)
Knowledge of how to review processes and practices to identify areas of improvement in relation to environmental sustainability. (Priority 2)
Ability to promote ideas or projects to a range of stakeholders with differing perspectives and priorities. (Priority 2)
Ability to prepare cost proposals and feasibility studies. (Priority 2)
