Bassetlaw Integrated Care Board

The Health and Care Bill 2022 created Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) as replacements for Clinical Commissioning Groups, and establishes in law the role of Integrated Care Partnerships as the committee where health, social care, the voluntary sector and other partners come together as an Integrated Care System (ICS).

Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System (ICS) is a partnership and collaboration that brings together NHS services, local authorities and other local partners across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire to collectively plan and deliver joined up health and care services to improve the lives of our population.

More citizens than ever need care in a range of settings, including at home, in hospital and in the community. However, care across different settings is often poorly coordinated and inefficient, leading to disjointed services that can be of variable quality. By working together as a whole system, we can address these issues and improve care for all citizens.

Our ICS has evolved from a long history of local health and care integration. We believe this history of working together puts us in a strong position for the future.

Royal Navy

What we do;

In times of peace and conflict, the Royal Navy is key to Britain’s prosperity and success. We help to stabilise the seas, keeping the maritime trade that’s the lifeblood of the UK economy flowing. We act as a guardian and a diplomat, as a humanitarian force for good, and a peacekeeper on the global stage.

The Royal Navy’s presence on the world stage sends a powerful message. We are ready to deploy at a moment’s notice to prevent conflict. By being there when it matters with a credible and potent naval force, we provide reassurance to other nations and stand as a deterrent to would-be aggressors.

A thriving global economy depends on maritime trade – and as an island nation, the UK needs a strong navy to protect its interests on the high seas. Day after day, the Royal Navy keeps a watchful eye over home and international waters, safeguarding its citizens and allies from pirates, terrorists and criminals, and ensuring that vital trade can continue without interruption.

Whether disasters are human-made or natural, the results are often the same: fractured infrastructure, shortages of food and water, and a lack of essential services like sanitation and electricity.

Think Big – NFFC & Ideagen

Connecting young people to the world of tech and opportunity

A partnership between Nottingham Forest Community Trust and Ideagen to promote the benefits of a career in tech for young people.

Ideagen, a fast-growing software company, and NFCT are joining forces to help inspire young people from diverse communities across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire to embrace technology careers

Our aim is to use the power of football to get young people interested in technology-based jobs as a viable, exciting and rewarding career path. As well as some technical skills, young people will be taught softer skills that will help with their employability longer term.

The programme is for key stage 4 students in mainstream, SEND and AP schools in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. CEO of Ideagen, Ben Dorks and CEO of NFCT Graham Moran aim to impact on the career aspirations and opportunity awareness of local young people.

The project will result in inspired young people who are aware of and prepared for roles in tech.
