Bassetlaw District Council By-Election for the Bassetlaw Wards held on the 01st May 2025

Ward: Sturton

As the Returning Officer for the Bassetlaw Ward of Sturton, of the Bassetlaw District Council By-Elections held on 01st May 2025, I hereby certify that all ballot boxes for the said voting Ward have been verified and: 

The Electorate at the close of poll is: 1,854.

Verified total

A) The total number of ballot papers in ballot boxes from said Ward is: 550.

B) The total number of ballot papers in postal ballot boxes from said Ward is: 225.

C) The total number of verified ballot papers for said Ward is: 775.

D) The percentage poll for the Ward is: 41.80%

I also confirm that a statement of the verification of ballot papers will be made available to Candidates and Agents on request.
