As a new initiative, we're keen to ensure your questions are answered. We will update this page with new questions and answers during the course of the summer.

What is the Trent Supercluster?
The Trent Supercluster is a pioneering programme of clean energy and advanced technology projects that are transforming three former coal-fired power station sites — West Burton, High Marnham and Cottam — into a world-class centre for sustainable growth and technology. Spanning approximately 14 miles along the River Trent in Nottinghamshire, the Trent Supercluster places the East Midlands at the cutting edge of clean energy and high-tech innovation. For more information visit the East Midlands Combined County Authority website.
Is the response form just about my views on the Trent Supercluster?
No. Whilst we welcome thoughts and feedback on those proposals to help inform decision makers, the response form is designed to capture your views about all aspects of your local community and the wider region. Whether that’s local issues, such as speeding and anti-social behaviour, regional concerns on transport infrastructure, housing, and skilled jobs, or national subjects that impact on your life, e.g., business, family or community. This is an open engagement, and all views will be captured.
What if I’m outside the engagement boundary?
For the first phase of the engagement programme the in-person events are focused within the boundary, specifically for communities close to the proposed development sites. That said, anyone is welcome to attend our events to find out more and we welcome responses to the survey from both within and beyond the boundary. In short, if you have a perspective to share, we’d be glad to hear from you.
