We are now taking bookings again for our Bulky Waste Collection online.
Please note the following:
Bulky waste will only be collected if there are NO persons at the property self-isolating due to the symptoms of COVID-19. If anyone is self-isolating, please contact us after this period has ended.
The following guidance MUST be followed:-
- In the “date available box” on the collection details page, please ensure you put the date of booking and immediately place the bulky items out to the front of your property on either your garden or driveway.
- Collection will then take place a MINIMUM of 72 hours after the items are placed outside and up to a maximum of 7-10 working days.
In addition to the weekly collection of wheeled bins, we also provide a chargeable service, from domestic properties only, to enable you to dispose of those items that are too large to go in your wheeled bin.
The charges are:
- £12.50 for the first item them £9 for each subsequent item thereafter
- (up to a maximum of 9 items)

The items above that we collect can also be taken by yourself at no cost to one of the two Household Waste Recycling Centres. If you wish to dispose of a household item that does not appear on either of the lists on this page, please contact Environment Services for advice.
Please note: From September 2016, Bassetlaw residents who wish to use the household recycling centres will need to register with Nottinghamshire County Council to continue to use the sites. Please contact Nottinghamshire County Council on 0300 500 8080.
