Consultation on the Draft Bassetlaw Local Plan

In accordance with Regulation 18 of The Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) 2012 this public consultation is being held to engage with interested parties about the future growth of Bassetlaw district. The Regulations require the Council to notify ‘specific consultation bodies’ who it considers have an interest in the plan and other appropriate general consultation bodies, residents and businesses.

The Council has produced a consultation document (the Draft Bassetlaw Local Plan) which includes proposed strategic policies for the period 2018 to 2035. The Council is now inviting interested parties to consider the document and give their views on the proposals and policies in the Plan. The consultation commences on 14th January 2019 and ends on 10th March 2019.
