The Water Cycle Study (WCS) will form part of the evidence base supporting the production of the Local Development Framework.
The Scoping Stage of the WCS has comprised of an initial review of available data and provided an overview of issues relating to clean water and wastewater infrastructure capacity; water resource availability; water quality; and potential ecological impacts of development.

The DRAFT Outline Study builds upon the findings of the Scoping WCS and has been undertaken using the proposed growth levels as identified in the emerging Core Strategy. The study will form an important basis of the Bassetlaw Core Strategy making up part the LDF, as well as providing input to the development of Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs) to assist in ensuring the delivery of water cycle management requirements at the local planning application level.
