Council Statement on Levelling Up Fund bid

We are aware of news reports and statements that have emerged today which claim that Bassetlaw District Council did not submit its bid to the Government’s Levelling Up Fund. In a response to this David Armiger, Interim Chief Executive of Bassetlaw District Council, has made the following statement:

Plans to install brand new play equipment suitable for all abilities at the award-winning Canch Park in Worksop are set to take a step forward this month. Bassetlaw District Council are seeking views on the provision of equipment designed with the less able bodied person in mind.
