Update 13th November 2019
We are emptying the skips from Central Avenue and will be putting two large white skips out, one on King Street and one on Allen Street. We have three vans and crews out on rotation covering Allen Street, King Street, Central Avenue, Ryton Street, Shelley Street. If you need assistance then please speak to one of our crews or leave your flood damaged items outside your property. We will not take any items from within your property boundaries unless you ask us to as we will not know if your insurance assessor has been.
A large white skip is being delivered this afternoon for residents to dispose of flood damaged items. This will be sited near the village hall.
We have visited Darrel Road today to pick up flood damage items. The skip is in place on Grove Lane at the entrance to the old dairy. We will begin collection from Blackstope Lane tomorrow. We will not take any items from within your property boundaries unless you ask us to as we will not know if your insurance assessor has been.
Please do not put fridges or freezers in the skips. We will collect these separately.
You can also contact our Customer Services Team on 01909 533 533 to notify us flood damaged items outside of your property.
