Local land charges access to Con29 information

From the 1st April 2020 all the below information contained on a Con29 will be available for any person wishing to carry out a Personal Search and other Con29 information should be sought under the E.I.R.channel. These questions are now subject to VAT. This information can be obtained either by the Council’s One Stop Shop Service carried out by the Land Charges Staff (please see list of charges under the Heading “Search Fees for Personal Searches” or by the E.I.R channel for which you are required to contact the Council’s E.I.R Officer directly and NOT the Land Charges Staff. Some Building Control Information may be found on the Councils Open Data site.

Information can also be obtained via the Council’s Public Register.

Local Land Charges Register

An LLC1 search covers the information, which is held on the Local Land Charges Register eg Panning Permissions, Enforcement Notices, Listed Buildings, and Grants etc.

This can be obtained via the NLIS hub at a cost of £26.00

By post/DX or email at a cost of £26.00.

Cheques are to be made payable to Bassetlaw District Council and all mail should be addressed to the Land Charges Department at Queens Buildings, Potter Street, Worksop, Notts. S80 2AH. Alternatively payments can be made by Credit/Debit Cards.

DX 723180 Worksop 3 or land.charges@bassetlaw.gov.uk Emailed searches payment must be received before the search will be entered onto the system.

This will be completed within 5-10 working days and carried out by Experienced Land Charges Staff and backed by the Councils Indemnity Insurance. The Local Land Charges Register is a public register which may be inspected by anyone wishing to do so via the computer terminal located in the reception area free of charge. The Land Charges Register is partly computerised and partly manually held on a card system.

Enforcement Public Register

Please contact the Planning Department for an appointment to see any information regarding Enforcement Notices on 01909 533 533.

Local Plan

The Local Plan can be viewed in the Council’s Reception on request or alternately paper copies are obtainable at a cost of £55.00 on collection or £60.00 posted. For information regarding the Local Plan please contact the Planning Policy Manager on 01909 533 533.

Contaminated Land

Please make an appointment to view the Contaminated Land Register by contacting the Environmental Health Team on 01909 533 533.

Radon Gas

Public Health England - UKradon hold information regard radon gas. Public Health England (PHE) was formed in April 2013 when a number of existing organisations, including the Health Protection Agency, were brought together to form a single authoritative health protection body. PHE is an executive agency of the Department of Health.

 

Highways Information (including Nearby Railway Schemes)

All Highways Information is held by the Nottinghamshire County Council.

Public Rights of Way

Public Rights of Way can be obtained from the Nottinghamshire County Council.

Drainage Information (SUDS)

Question 3.3 (a)(b) & (c) As schedule 3 of the Floor and Water Management Act 2010 has not been brought into force, the Council is not required to keep any records regarding sustainable drainage systems, maintenance responsibilities or surface water drainage charges for any individual properties.

Community Infrastructure levy (CIL)

Search Fees for Personal Searches

Search of the Land Charges Register - Free of Charge

A One Stop Shop will be carried out by the Land Charges Staff upon the presentation of the prescribed fees below – all replies will be carried out within 5 - 10 working days wherever possible and will be available to view in the Main Reception Area. All documentation must be handed back to the Reception Desk.

A plan must be provided for all types of search clearly outlined in red and of OS standard. All searchers must sign a disclaimer. The Land Charges Staff will retain a copy of the plan.

One Stop Shop Facility

The Council will be operating a One Stop Shop Facility to obtain all the above questions on behalf of any searcher for the fees set out above. This information will be completed within 5 -10 working days wherever possible.

Once the Con29 information is complete you will be able to view the information in the Reception Area on the ground floor. We request that you phone the Land Charges staff on either 01909 533 533 to inform them of your intentions to visit the offices to obtain this information or email land.charges@bassetlaw.gov.uk.

All payments for Con29 information must be paid at the time of carrying out a personal search of the Land Charges Register and be accompanied by a plan of OS standard clearly outlined in red which will be kept by the Land Charges Section and a signed authorisation form must be sent.

If any further information is required regarding the Con29 questions it may be subject to the normal fees charged by the departments for obtaining or supplying this information.

The Land Charges Staff are not available to clarify any details regarding the information held on any public registers or E.I.R information. It is at the discretion of the personal searcher to follow up with the relevant departments any queries that may arise from data sourced.

Alternatively you can obtain a full Con29 Search, which will be carried out by the Councils Land Charges Staff at a cost of £96.00 within 5 – 10 working days or a full standard Official Search (LLC1 + Con29) at a cost of £122.00.
