Community services for the over 50's - Connect

The Connect service provides information, advice and short term support for people who are at risk of deteriorating health and independence as a result of age, mobility, disability, long term health condition or bereavement. It is aimed at people who might be struggling with keeping active or managing personal affairs, or who might be feeling lonely.  All these things can happen so easily as a result of getting older, poor health, family moving away or losing loved ones.

The Connect service can find information about local services, activities and opportunities.  If needed, Connect can work with people around money issues, housing problems, health management and other things. This support will be tailored to each person and will focus on achieving what they want in a way that suits them.

If you, or someone you know, might benefit from the advice and support of Connect, visit or phone NCHA on 0115 844 3541.
