Public space protection orders (PSPO) - Imposed public space protection orders (PSPO)

Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPO) were brought in under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.

PSPO are intended to deal with any particular nuisance issues within a defined area that are detrimental to the local community's quality of life.  This is achieved by imposing conditions on the use of a defined area which applies to everyone.
