A bold new vision that sets out how the future of Worksop town centre can be re-thought, re-worked and transformed, is being put forward by Bassetlaw District Council.
The Worksop Masterplan will stretch forward towards 2030 and beyond, encompassing ambitions for new town centre living, shopping and leisure, with education and training facilities to make Worksop a destination for work, home and relaxation.
So that this exciting proposal may eventually become a reality, the Council needs the views of local people to influence the options and ideas that will help to create the type of town centre people want to use and live in over the coming years. As such, the Council is asking residents and businesses to submit their views via a consultation that will take place over the next eight weeks from Tuesday 17th November 2020 to Monday 11th January 2021.
If you require the Worksop Town Centre Masterplan Document as a printed copy please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
In response to the Local Covid-19 restrictions in place in Bassetlaw, all consultation events will be held online using Microsoft Teams. For businesses within Worksop Town Centre wanting to take part in an online consultation event, you will need to book your place. All events must be pre-booked and are limited to 25 attendees each, with places given to those who register first.
The events will be for businesses to submit responses to the Worksop Town Centre Masterplan, and submit questions prior to the event which will be responded to.
