Our council plan describes our priorities for 2019 to 2023
Bassetlaw District Council adopted its new Council Plan for 2019 - 2023 at a meeting of full council on 26th September 2019. The Plan covers a four-year period and is aligned with the Council’s electoral cycle, taking us up to the next District Council elections in 2023.
It does not cover in detail everything that we do as a council, with the Council’s Corporate Performance Management Framework, Indicators and Service Plans setting out our targets and actions. Instead, it features priority areas that we will be focusing on and where we want to see improvement and delivery over the four years.
The plan sets out our priorities in the three key themes of:
- Investing in Place
- Investing in Housing
- Investing in Communities
Progress against the Council Plan priorities and actions will be presented to Cabinet and Overview & Scrutiny Committee on a quarterly basis.
