Street Trading Policy Consultation

Overview

We want to hear your views on our Draft Street Trading Policy.

The Council’s Street Trading Policy sets out the legal framework for the management of street trading (the selling, display with intent to sell, or offers to sell items on, or adjacent to a public road) in Bassetlaw and guides the Council as Licensing Authority when it considers applications for Street Trading Consents and the requirements that Consent holders must meet.

The consultation will run from Tuesday 6th February 2024 to Tuesday 19th March.

Paper copies of the consultation form are available from the Council Offices in Worksop and Retford.

Why your views matter

By answering our questionnaire you will be able to tell us what you think about the policy. The final question is about the Policy as a whole and is where you can record any views not already given.

After the consultation has been completed, Licensing Committee will consider the results and decide on the proposed final version.
