Walkabout Clumber Park

As part of the National Walking the Way to Health initiative the National Trust, Bassetlaw District Council's Sports Development Unit and Bassetlaw Primary Care Trust continues to host these Health Walks in Clumber Park.

The events will start from under the Clock Tower near the Visitors Centre at 10.30am on:

Volunteer Walk Leaders from the existing Health Walks in Bassetlaw give up their time to provide four lead walks of varying distances.

Ladies Walkabout Clumber Park

An evening walk aimed at ladies who would like a bit of "me" time.  This can be after returning to work from maternity leave, a chance to get more active with your friends or if you would just like to become fitter and meet new people.

These walks last approximately 1 hour.

Walks start at 7.30pm from the Park Inn Club, near Hardwick Village Car Park, Clumber Park.

Cycleabout Clumber Park

The Cycleabout Clumber events are aimed at encouraging local parents, grandparents and carers with small children to have an active and healthy lifestyle.  The led cycle about will last approximately 1 hour and is suitable for people of all ages.  You are welcome to bring your own bicycle (it must be road worthy) or hire one for a small fee.  Please also bring suitable clothing, a cycle helmet (strongly advised) and a drink.  Cycle about starts at 11.30am from the cycle hire building (near the main car park)
