What is Urban Paintball?
As far as we’re
aware, Bassetlaw District Council is the only local
authority in the UK to offer this exciting style of paintball
activity to young people.
Urban Paintball is a massive
35m x 20m self-contained inflatable paintball arena where young
people aged 11 to 18 can safely play paintball games. They
will be supervised by experienced staff from 'A Sporting Chance'
which is part of the Bassetlaw District Council Sport Development
Team.
The idea behind Urban Paintball is a similar
concept to that of the American ‘Speed Ball’ and ‘X Ball’ paintball
games, where players compete in an arena using inflatable barriers
to hide behind.
During your Urban Paintball experience you
will play alongside a maximum of 11 other young people, making two
teams of six players. After your 15 minute health and safety
brief, you will take part in a total of four ten minute games in an
exhilarating and action packed one hour session. Three of those
games will be against other young people. In your final game
all twelve players join forces to play against the two ‘Master
Chiefs’ to establish total supremacy!
Please note: the ‘Master
Chiefs’ are adult staff aged over 18 and will be using the same
paintball markers as the young players
Sessions are only £7.50 and this includes 125
paintballs.
Additional paintballs can be purchased
on the day for £3.00 for 50 or £5.50 for 100 balls
