Valley School thanked for taking part in adizone

addidas donation to schools

Sporty pupils at Valley School took delivery of new footballs and basketballs courtesy of adidas, as a thank you for taking part in the opening of the adiZone outdoor gym facility in the Canch.

The balls were handed over by Councillor Chris Wanless, the Council’s Youth Champion and Tony Wright, Head of Sports Development at Bassetlaw District Council.

Councillor Wanless said:

“We’re very pleased, on behalf of our partners in the adiZone, to be able to thank the students who helped make the opening ceremony so memorable.  Footballs and basketballs are appropriate mementos of the opening of the outdoor gym, which we has already become a popular attraction in the Canch.”

Tony Wright said:

“Our aim is to get more people, more active, more often. We hope that Valley’s sports enthusiasts will continue to lead the way and show people how this can be done by having fun at the same time.”
