Planning has a vital role to play if the Council's regeneration objectives are to be achieved.

 

We make important decisions that will effect Bassetlaw's future.

 

We aim to deal with the growing number of applications efficiently and to deliver good quality developments, We want to hear your views about current proposals and to help you see what is being put forward you may view current Planning Applications through our on line service.

 

The new planning policy documents, which constitute the Local Development Framework, are in preparation and will set the guidelines for development in Bassetlaw and we encourage you to make your views known during the creation of the Local Development Framework documents.

 

We are able to provide a wide range of advice and support on all aspects of matters affecting the District. So if you need more information about Planning or the wider Community Prosperity Team please contact one of our officers or Councillors using the information provided throughout the website.  Please let us know if there is any information that you would like to see provided through the web site.
