Pests and Nuisance
The Council operates a Pest Control Service which provides
treatment if you are unlucky enough to be visited by flea's or bed
bugs.
We also provide treatments to deal with mice and rats and
problems such as wasps and beetles. Please be aware
we do not deal with ants.
These treatments are charged at a competitive rate which varies
depending on the type of treatment carried out. Most serious
treatments are dealt with within a couple of days.
Pest Control services can be arranged by telephoning during
normal working hours, where our staff will provide advice and make
an appointment for treatment if you wish. Alternatively you can
contact us by email.
Officers call by prior appointment and apply safe and effective
treatments. If for any reason the problem persists they will
return and make every effort to ensure the pest is eradicated.
