Emergency Planning
Bassetlaw District Council has an important role
to play in the response to an emergency within the district.
We are committed to providing information and
advice to our residents and businesses about any known or potential
emergency.
Use these pages for advice and guidance with
regard to potential emergencies in our area.
It is likely that the District Council will carry
out some immediate response to some incidents that occur in or
around the district and in many instances will provide a longer
term support role within the community following any major incident
or disruption caused by events such as flooding, severe weather
damage or possible long term human or animal health emergencies
etc.
We have included in these additional pages a
number of other useful UK websites for further advice from
national, regional, county and surrounding Local Authority
Districts and Borough Councils.
We can also offer advice to local businesses
about preparing to enhance their own resilience in the event of an
emergency in the district.
