Area Housing Strategy
The purpose of the Area Housing Strategy is
to collate and identify housing elements contained within other
strategic documents and reports, and thereby provide all housing
stakeholders with a document that specifically focuses on
objectives for housing provision within Bassetlaw.
It informs Central Government, our partners
and other interested parties of our future plans for Housing
Provision and Housing Services. It links to key themes
including health, economic regeneration, community safety,
environment, social inclusion, education and lifelong learning.
It also links to the Council’s Strategic Plan while
encompassing national and regional priorities.
