Preparation of an Emergency Flood Pack before the
flood occurs will help ensure that you have all critical items that
you and your family need during the difficult time.
Consider including in your pack items such
as:
- Personal documents such as insurance
policy details
- Battery operated torch
- Battery operated or wind-up
radio
- Mobile phone
- Rubber gloves / boots
- First Aid Supplies
- Blankets and warm clothing
- Prescription medication
- Children’s essentials (see flood plan for
details)
- Spare batteries
Preparation will also minimise delay should
evacuation of your home be necessary.
