Political Structure
Following the May 2010 elections, there are
currently 25 Conservative, 20 Labour and three
Independent Councillors.
The Conservative Group forms the Political
Administration of the Council.
The Leader of the Council is Councillor Mike
Quigley and the Deputy Leader is Councillor Keith Isard
The Leader of the Labour Group is Councillor
Graham Oxby.
The Leader of the Independent Group is Councillor
Hugh Burton.
The Council's decisions are made by the Cabinet
which meets every month.
