Local Strategic Partnership (LSP)
The Council works with schools, the Police, Health Care, Faith
Groups, the Voluntary sector and businesses (amongst others), in
order to help solve the problems that are important to the local
community. See the LSP website.
Engagement Plan
Community Engagement provides people with opportunities to have
a a greater say in what happens in their community and to be more
active in decision making. See our Engagement
Strategy.
Nottinghamshire Listens – Citizens’ Panel
The panel is a valuable resource for the Council and its
partners. It is made up of local people who volunteer to fill in
surveys and give the Council and their partners their opinion about
services, plans and policies. The panel is representative of the
people of Nottinghamshire. Visit the
Nottinghamshire Listens website.
Events
The Council holds ‘Community Days’ and consultation events to
get your views on key issues that may affect you/where you live and
the services it provides. Look out for the events
page coming soon.
Topical
What’s topical at the moment? You can get involved and have your
say on current projects that are taking
place. The top things are usually on the homepage of the website.
Community Groups (Link Officers)
The Council is keen to work closely with local community groups
so we established a link officer role
within the Council so that the groups have a dedicated contact
point to ensure effective engagement. See our Approach
to Engagement.
