Application for Designation of a Neighbourhood Area

Application to Become a Neighbourhood Planning Forum

Notice is hereby given that an application has been made by the Sturton Ward Planning Forum to Bassetlaw District Council that Sturton Ward in Bassetlaw District be recognised as a Neighbourhood Area for the purpose of producing a Neighbourhood Plan.

 

 

Representations on this application may be made to Planning Policy, Bassetlaw District Council, Queen’s Buildings, Potter Street, Worksop, S80 2AH by 5pm on Friday 30th March 2012.

 

Notice is also given that an application has been made by the Sturton Ward Planning Forum, comprising of the Parish Councils of North Leverton, Sturton le Steeple and North & South Wheatley, to be the Neighbourhood Planning Forum for the Neighbourhood Area proposed above. This application was received by the Council on 31 January 2012. Contact details of representatives of the Forum are as follows:

Applications by any other bodies to become a Neighbourhood Planning Forum for the Neighbourhood Area proposed above must be received by Bassetlaw District Council at the address above no later than 5pm on 14th March 2012. (Consultation on the Neighbourhood Plan is now closed).

 

The approval of the Neighbourhood Area Designation, for the Sturton Ward Neighbourhood Plan, was made on 4th April 2012.  No comments or objections were received to carry out the plan, therefore, the Neighbourhood Plan may now commence.
